Technical Project Manager - Network infrastructure, Deployment, Jira – Preferred Skills

Manage environment change approval activities by engaging multiple teams to create, submit, track and close change requests to prepare for deployment

Ensures change process and documentation is effectively managed, communicated, and tracked to completion with segment partners

Manage production implementation with teams/stakeholders during change window

Infrastructure experience (servers, firewalls, migration) - 3 years

Any additional knowledge of 3 rd party tools to manage AVD is an asset

Experience with deploying Azure Virtual Desktops

Help to develop new Azure Virtual Deployment environment for use in student Labs

Create new AVD images (Windows 11 multi user environment)

Determine appropriate AVD VM sizing

Work with instructors to Install/test software in AVD images

Configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible)

Experience with architecture and deployment of Cloud Services, including experience with:

Demonstrated ability to monitor/manage cloud spend

Ability to share with and/or absorb knowledge from others in the team/company

Experience working on cross functional scrum teams

In-depth and proactive communication and documentation skills

Computer literate with knowledge of CAD tools (MicroStation, AutoCAD), Bills of Materials, (SAP), Configuration Management, Thales (ClearQuest), and Microsoft Office suite

Manage assigned tasks, schedule and budget

Ensuring that all tasks proceed according to schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all requirements

Well-developed verbal skills to interact effectively and professionally in a variety of forums

Well-developed writing skills to prepare clear effective documents

8-10 years of related work experience
