Execute projects by offering project management services and liaising with engineering firms, suppliers, and contractors as necessary.

1-5 years of mechanical project management experience in an industrial setting.

Knowledge, experience, and/or exposure in any of the following areas would be considered an asset:

Offer general engineering technical support to operations and maintenance departments for site equipment (mobile and milling).

Good working knowledge of all MS Office applications.

Knowledge and experience of managing activity within Project Management framework desirable;

Supports sustaining engineering activities through the planning, project management, and execution of multiple small-to-mid-scale projects.

Actively follows, take ownership of, contribute to and advocate Alpha’s Product Life Cycle management (PLC) and Product Design Process (PDP).

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge, training and experience is required.

Knowledge or prior experience in control sensors, smart brakers, connectivity diagnostic and PCBA layout is a great asset.

Ensures that products meet all manufacturing requirements (DFM) for reliable production.

A minimum 7 years of related experience is required; mechanical design position in similar industry is preferred.

Computer skills required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with hotel systems such as MICROS is preferred

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent

5+ years prior work experience in a manufacturing or design engineering environment

P.Eng Certification in Canada, with a straightforward path to certification in BC.

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment and able to coordinate with Architectural, Electrical and Structural.
