JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Positions requiring an understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures.

Job Location:

Canada/Australia

Experience:

* 3 Years and Above

Responsibilities Include:

* To design a product from concept to manufacturing

* Consult with clients to determine requirements for designs

* Research the various ways a particular product might be used, and who will use it

* Sketch ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provide a visual of design ideas

* Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs

* Create physical prototypes of their designs

* Examine materials and manufacturing requirements to determine production costs

* Work with other specialists, such as electronic engineers and manufacturers, to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill needs at a reasonable cost

* Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical

* Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval

Mandatory Technical Traits:

* Should be familiar with various safety standards

* Proficiency in CAD tools

* Should be familiar with current industrial practices

* Should be familiar with prototypes manufacturing process like 3D printing

Mandatory Skill set:

Industrial Design, Solid Works, Sheet Metal, Plastic moulding, CAD , prototypes manufacturing like 3D Printing, etc. Knowledge about Safety Standards etc.

ACADEMIC:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Salary: 40L-45L Annual Salary
