Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in mission systems equipment design including hydraulic systems
• Delivers required outcomes by coordinating with suppliers and supply chain to receive, approve and integrate technical and commercial information to support detail design and supply chain and adhere to the overall schedule.
• Work with various integrated project groups
• Work closely with production to oversee and assist in production troubleshooting
• Perform assessments on mechanical systems, continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.
• Undertake internal reviews and verification checks on designs.

Qualifications:

• Experience doing hydraulic system design & supporting calculations
• Previous field experience: hands-on support/production support
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineering
• P.Eng/EIT qualification would be an asset
• Experience doing field reviews and production support
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment (cranes preferred)
