The Workplace Wellness Advisor is a results-driven individual passionate about cultivating strong relationships and designing tailored wellness initiatives that encourage positive workplace behaviors, enhance engagement, and foster a culture of continuous development within the workplace. Beyond the workplace, the Workplace Wellness Advisor takes a proactive role in community engagement efforts with business community leaders, organizations, and relevant associations advocating for the integration of workplace wellness initiatives, while establishing meaningful connections that mutually benefit both the organization and the broader business community.
The Workplace Wellness Advisor plays a key role in empowering organizations and their employees to achieve their wellness goals successfully.

Responsibilities:
- Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as required.
- In collaboration with partners, analyze utilization and effectiveness of existing wellness programs, providing recommendations to enhance outcomes and increase employee satisfaction.
- Manage the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based mental health and wellness programs and services.
- Remain up to date on industry trends related to workplace wellness, engagement, mental health initiatives.
- Develop a feedback process to validate partner initiatives, assess services and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide subject matter support and advisory services to businesses in the community as needed, inclusive of mental health and wellness programming and planning.
- Work with businesses to provide strategies to increase employee participation and involvement in the organization's wellness activities.
- The scope of the role will include individual mentoring, group mentoring, presentations, and consulting on mental health and wellness within the workplace.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding for all engagement efforts.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies and initiatives to foster positive relationships within the business community, and relevant stakeholders for the purpose of promoting the Wellness & Learning Initiatives services.
- Conduct partner-facing activities, including organizing, attend and be available for conferences, leading presentations, and meetings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and tact.
- Ability to endure extensive travel, including handling jet lag and layovers effectively for prolonged periods when required.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Completed education in social work, psychology, social services, or a related field is a must.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to also negotiate for the purpose of finalizing contracts.
- Comfortable adapting to new situations and proficient in problem-solving in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in analyzing wellness data and using insights to make data-driven recommendations.
- Tech-savvy with experience using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook - Intermediate, PowerPoint – Advanced).
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in workplace wellness program or a related field.
- Proven experience with development and executing programs supporting workplace wellness initiatives.
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- 50%-75% of the work will require traveling, mostly within North America.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and connections with partners during conferences and events.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Additional language capabilities are an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of workplace wellness and mental health initiatives.
