Wellness Navigation Advisor Jobs

Manage the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based mental health and wellness programs and services.

Excellent knowledge of workplace wellness and mental health initiatives.

Minimum of 5 years previous experience in workplace wellness program or a related field.

Completed education in social work, psychology, social services, or a related field is a must.

Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and connections with partners during conferences and events.

5+ years of experience in in-house disability case management and return to work

Strong change management and coaching skills

Oversee management of disability files and act as a consultant to managers, employees and insurers during short- and long-term sick leave

Ensure effective management of return to work by developing intervention strategies and reintegration plans

Conduct disciplinary and/or administrative meetings related to attendance management

Manage data and statistics related to employee absenteeism

A Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) designation with the International DM Standards Council is an asset.

Assesses workplace exposure to ergonomic risks and provides recommendations on interventions such as engineering controls, administrative controls, and training.

Performs job task analyses and advises departments regarding changes to job design and practices that will reduce the risk for injuries.

A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a health discipline such as Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Health Nursing.

Coach and assist operational management in the execution of safety and wellness objectives

Promote a culture of accident prevention and accountability through collaboration and participation by all associates

Maintain the accident tracking log, track and analyze statistics/data to facilitate the prioritization of mitigation strategies.
