Position Summary:
Direct and assist in planning of all warehouse activity including all shipping, receiving, inventory control, damage reclamation and revenue generating activities in order to meet Greenworks, customer, provincial and federal standards. Ensure the accuracy and quality of work meets Greenworks high standards and is a strategic strength for future growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure SAP is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
• Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of resources to support product reasonability.
• Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts.
• Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment as assigned
• Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly
• Participate in the optimization and improvements of the ERP system and optimize its use for efficiency and throughput.
• Manage and plan the resources for a seasonal business to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Develop and continuously improve internal processes to gain efficiency and throughput targets.
• Lead and coach others in maintaining excellence inbound receipt, outbound shipments, inventory control, quality control, and safety.
• Direct the activities of all functions involved in receipt, put away, picking, shipping and inventory control for in-house warehouse and 3PL's.
• Identify and implement solutions to increase efficiency and throughput.
• Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class warehousing network.
• Ensure KPI's are met, such as clean picks on a daily basis.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to warehousing.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the job specific quality system procedures and processes as defined in the Training Matrix and adhere to the requirements listed in those documents. If any of the procedure or process requirements are unclear or ambiguous, it is the responsibility of the employee to notify his/her supervisor or Quality Assurance
• Take initiative to proactively resolve planning and resource issues that will impact sales or inventory productivity; escalate to key stakeholders in a timely manner as warranted.
• Deploy project management skills to build analytical tools/models leveraging Microsoft Excel, Access, and other available tools.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic fast-paced, changing, and demanding work environment.
• 5-10 years of direct management experience. Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
• Bachelor's Degree BS/BB in Supply Chain or MBA (preferred), Operations Management, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related discipline is preferred.
• 10-15 years progressive experience in demand planning/forecasting, supply chain or related analytical field (materials management, accounting, finance, etc). Product Management experience could be substituted for Supply Chain experience if the depth of knowledge aligns with the needs for this role.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills utilizing modeling aspects of Microsoft Excel, Access or other related software tools.
• Experience working with traditional brick and mortar and e-commerce, either internal or as a supplier, is highly valued.
• 3 years B2C experience
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Proficient with computer software applications including SAP, MS Office Suite and Adobe software.
