Overview

Our client is an innovator and fast-growing platform, specialising in private equity investing. Their offering is a centralised marketplace to help facilitate trades between issuers and investors. They were recently approved to launch in Canada and are on track to begin a rapid expansion across North America. They are searching for a hands-on Institutional Salesperson to help them achieve their goals of a scaling their North American business.

Qualifications:

• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 license holder (ideal but not necessary)
• Direct and specific experience brokering in the private secondary market
• Ability to perform well in a high-growth environment
• OR VP-level experience in any of the following: investment banking, VC, PE, corporate development, investment/institutional sales etc.
• A proven track record of relationship building with C-Suite executives and/or business decision makers

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships and foster existing relationships with potential buyers and sellers
• Lead entire sales cycle (from sourcing, prospecting, closing etc.) across both Institutional clients (VC/private equity funds, hedge funds, etc.) and individuals (founders, angel investors, executives)
• Training wider team of analysts and associates, providing feedback and mentorship
• Engage with institutional buyers/sellers, demonstrating industry expertise and finding opportunities to add value
• Work cross functionally across Product & Operations team to optimise product, process and strategy
