Job Description
Weseek an experienced technical leader with a robustbackground in product delivery, product roadmap planning, andcloud solutions. The successful candidate will be experienced inmanaging platform/solution mergers and migrations between cloudenvironments. This role will be integral to our leadership,driving the execution of our product vision through effective teamleadership and collaboration. Familiarity with the Canadian ITsector and experience in applying and managing Canadian grants andsupport programs for the IT sector is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead teams of up to 20 people.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to manage and leadhigh-performance technical teams.
  • Stronginterpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in product management,including managing a product roadmap and delivering productsaccording to the roadmap.
  • Master's degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of GPC, MySQL, NOSQL, CI/CD, Redis, AngularJS, React, ElasticSearch, GO, complex microservice architectures is highly desired.
  • Experience with agile developmentmethodologies and IT project management.
  • Outstanding leadership,organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving anddecision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complexinformation.
  • Solid technical background withhands-on experience in cloud-based technologies and softwareengineering.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and engineeringteams to execute the company's cloud technologystrategy.
  • Facilitatecareer growth within the engineering team, encouragingknowledge expansion and skill development in cloudtechnologies.
  • Oversee thedelivery of products, ensuring they meet set milestones andadhere to the product roadmap.
  • Oversee budget planning for theengineering department, with an emphasis on cloudsolutions.
  • Develop,maintain, and execute the product roadmap in collaborationwith internal teams, especially engineers and othermanagement teams.
