Fantastic Senior Executive opportunity with a very well-established company whose highly technical systems are used around the world. This is a great career opportunity for someone who wants to work for a complex and interesting global company headquartered in Vancouver. Reporting into the CEO and leading a total team of 30+. Overseeing accounting, finance, procurement, contracts management, supply chain, and IT.

Who- the Company:Our client is a highly successful and innovative company headquartered in the lower mainland with over 40 years of history and a well-established global reputation. Subsidiary offices in various countries. The company is very well-managed and successful with long-tenured employees. There have been no lay-offs conducted in well over 8 years and the company is on track to double their revenues in the next year!

What- the Role: Our client seeking a Vice President Finance to join their executive leadership team. The VP Finance will report to the CEO and will have 5 VP-level peers. The new VP Finance will lead a team of over 30 individuals, including 4 direct reports, The divisions led by these direct reports cover a broad range of areas beyond just accounting & finance, including contracts management, IT, data analytics, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, systems analysis, etc. SWIM will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description.

Who- the Candidate: We are seeking seasoned leaders with at least 15 years’ relevant experience in accounting & finance, as well as contracts management and ideally some other relevant areas such as IT, data analytics, supply chain, etc.Qualified candidates will have led teams with 3+ direct reports, and total team size of 20+. CPA accounting designation is required, or International equivalent. Candidates must have recent experience working in a project-based industry, ideally in engineering and/or highly technical design. Experience working in a company with global operations and a global customer based is highly preferred. Tech savvy with ability to seek out system optimization and opportunities for automation is required.

Where: HYBRID- Approximately 50% in-office / 50% work-from-home. The company is headquartered in Greater Vancouver.
