Position & Scope:
We seek a dynamic and proficient professional, a Vice President, to play a pivotal role in spearheading various projects for our clients, encompassing divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, strategic financings, and other financial advisory tasks. The ideal candidate will have ample opportunities to engage directly with clients, taking charge of transaction execution and other critical client-driven ventures. Collaborating closely with senior partners, the Vice President will demonstrate skillful execution of intricate deals, thereby enhancing our client’s standing as a frontrunner in M&A advisory services.
What You Will Achieve in This Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and/or review financial models and valuation analysis, with support from associates.
- Lead and oversee the preparation of confidential information memorandums and other deal-related marketing materials.
- Build and manage strong client relationships.
- Lead the preparation of client presentations including ongoing transactions and business development opportunities. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in delivering these materials to both clients and potential clients.
- Stay informed about current market trends and opportunities. Conduct research on financial, industry, and market data/information related to potential business opportunities for clients.
- Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and other transaction advisory assignments, including regular prominent interaction with clients.
- Play a vital role in formulating negotiation strategies and other activities throughout the deal process.
- Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff on assignments.
What You Must Bring:
- You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to derive valuable insights from complex qualitative and quantitative data.
- You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism, clarity, and confidence in interactions. Proficient in garnering support and trust from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prior M&A experience involving private companies is highly desirable.
- We value entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and agile work environment. A strategic mindset, combined with a willingness to take a hands-on approach when needed, is crucial to excel in this role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, with a deep understanding of financial statements and various business valuation methodologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on M&A experience, including at least 2 years of leading and executing transactions.
Education:
- CPA, CFA, or CBV preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
