About This Career Opportunity
The Utility Division is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator who must be skilled, detail oriented, and result focused. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support on construction projects. The successful candidate with report to the Operations Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Document control;
  • Ensure site is operating in accordance to health, safety and environmental standards;
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules;
  • Trade and subcontractor coordination;
  • Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships;
  • Assists in tracking projects progress;
  • Assist in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines;
  • Purchasing;
  • Assist the Project Manager to ensure project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications are met;
  • Assist in monitoring quality control programs;
  • The successful candidate may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering or a related field is considered an asset.
Work Experience Requirements
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the construction industry is an asset.
Skills, Abilities, And Other Requirements
  • Knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Projects, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Motivated with the ability to work with strict timelines in a fast-paced team environment
