About Our Client
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Traveling Site Superintendent. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing construction projects, and are willing to travel, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• Oversee and manage retail construction renovation projects at various locations within the GTA, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgetary constraints.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, review and approve invoices, and negotiate contracts to optimize project profitability.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage subcontractors and trades, ensuring their compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to develop and execute project plans.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, including site preparation, demolition, installation, and finishing work.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the construction process.

The Successful Applicant

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in the retail construction industry, with a focus on renovations.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to various locations within the GTA based on project requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
