About Our Client
Our client is a very established ICI General Contractor that has been around for over 40 years specializing in Institutional projects. If you are looking to be part of a valued culture in a flexible, medium sized company then they are exactly who you're looking for!

• Tracking/logging daily manpower on site and maintaining a project diary
• Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
• Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site
• Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
• Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required
• Ensuring that the budget is followed; work with the Project Manager in managing all Division 1 costs
• Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed

The Successful Applicant

• Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred)
• Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
• 10+ years experience in construction as an ICI Site Superintendent working on multiple full-cycle institutional projects (both new builds as well as additions)
• Able to read construction working drawings including and not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings
• Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi family construction projects
