• Managing the project schedule, prioritizing tasks, and meeting milestones.
• Taking charge of and supervising the on-site construction team.
• Conducting inspections in accordance with local jurisdictional specifications.
• Supervising the assistant site superintendent regarding daily field reports.
• Participating in meetings with clients, vendors, and external partners.
• Traveling to construction sites across Ontario as needed
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with on-site safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Enforcing adherence to quality standards.
• Addressing and rectifying deficiencies to meet company standards.
• Keeping daily work reports and work plans up to date.
• Coordinating and supervising all on-site activities.

The Successful Applicant

• Excellent mastery of reading plans and specifications with experience of the site
• Proficiency with project management software including MS Project, Procore, etc.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing construction sites
• Experience with high-end architectural + millwork packages.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Technical Diploma in building or construction technology considered an asset
• Experience with multiple full-cycle new developments (Steel, Formwork, Concrete, Finishing, etc.)
• Three to five years and more of Superintendent experience in the ICI industry
