Job Title: Sr. Site Superintendent
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

We specialize in high-rise construction and have developed a fantastic team, culture, and environment. We hire the best and are seeking a Sr. Site Superintendent for one of our newest projects in the city. We would be looking for a candidate that has completed at least two high-rise full cycles projects.

As a Sr. High-Rise Site Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our high-rise residential construction projects. You will oversee all on-site activities and ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines. The selected candidate will have established leadership skills to excel the project(s) and provide the organizational, and communication skills to manage coordinating subcontractors, managing resources, and maintaining effective relationships with project teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities

• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and industry regulations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control, identify deficiencies, and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Identify and proactively address any challenges or conflicts that may arise during the construction process and work towards resolution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for high-rise residential projects in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and other project-related records.
• Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations specific to high-rise construction in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Must be detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Previous experience as a Sr. Site Superintendent in high-rise construction projects, or a Site Superintendent looking to move into a more senior position with a focus on and residential developments.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide on-site personnel. Must be able to work with and motive different personalities at any given time.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools to track project progress, manage schedules, and ensure efficiency.
• Must have proven track record of successfully managing multiple high-rise projects simultaneously, from start to finish. (two or more full cycle projects)
