Position Summary

Our client is a very prestigious Real Estate Developer in the GTA we are conducting a search for a Site Super to oversee the day to day activities of their Brampton Project.

Required to co-ordinate all site construction activities and supervise all field personnel to maintain schedule as well as administering standard construction safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Track progress on site daily to meet work schedules and budgets;
• Build three week look ahead schedules.
• Ensure quality build on the following: building layout, interior and exterior wall layout, workmanship, grades, hardscaping, soft scaping, parking lot;
• Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures
• Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of resources;
• Coordinate with tenants, general contractors, sub-trades the various timelines
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, quantities to Project Managers and Management on regular basis;
• Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of sub trades on site on a daily basis;
• Identify any scope changes
• Liaise with various consultants, government inspectors, architects, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers;
• May be on call
• Site responsibility for on time on budget construction;

Requirements

• Journeyman/woman trade certification in a relevant trade may be required;
• First Aid and C.P.R. training;
• Several years of experience in retail and ICI construction required on full cycle projects
• An Engineering Degree or Applied Science Degree an asset;
• Completion of post-secondary school diploma or degree in Construction Management or Engineering recommended;
• Valid Ontario ‘G’ Drivers License
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Ministry of the Environment guidelines;
