Site Superintendent Ici Jobs

Prepare and deliver progress reports, quantities to Project Managers and Management on regular basis;

Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an ICI Construction Site Superintendent

Experience with large-scale Light & Heavy Industriral, Commercial, or Institutional construction projects

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills

Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulations

Have excellent time management skills and be responsible for several projects at one time

Perform budget and estimate for project including design build, construction management, cost plus and other projects not considered typical tendered projects

5+ years experience as a Project Manager in ICI construction

Show competence with various Project Management software programs and MS Office products

Knowledge of construction terms, processes and methods

Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management are a plus.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Lead and manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Work at the direction of Sr. Project Manager

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.

Manage project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety records.

Minimum 10+ years experience in project management in the ICI construction industry preferred

Prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and provide updates on project status to management.

A university degree or college diploma in construction or architectural technology, or project management is required

Oversee and manage the construction activities of multiple ICI projects.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Lead a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring proper resource allocation and coordination.

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Experience managing multiple large construction contracts involving consultants, construction firms and general contractors.

Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Understanding of Facility Management processes and standards, either through work experience or qualifications

Minimum 5 - 10 years of Facilities Management and/or operations management experience in the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional sectors.

Skills, Abilities, And Other Requirements

Providing technical and operational guidance and support to the Facilities Managers and Project Management teams.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing construction sites

Proficiency with project management software including MS Project, Procore, etc.

Three to five years and more of Superintendent experience in the ICI industry

Experience with high-end architectural + millwork packages.

Experience with multiple full-cycle new developments (Steel, Formwork, Concrete, Finishing, etc.)

Excellent mastery of reading plans and specifications with experience of the site

Several years of experience in retail and ICI construction required on full cycle projects

Journeyman/woman trade certification in a relevant trade may be required;

Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Ministry of the Environment guidelines;
