Our client is a construction management firm that does industrial, institutional and commercial projects across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding, including Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo. Your new Role
The open role is for a Site Supervisor to join our client's field team. They will orchestrate the coordination of all trades onsite to drive the project toward completion within the projected timelines and in accordance with specifications and safety standards. They will schedule and conduct site meetings to ensure all scheduled tasks are on track and ensure all permit related inspections and documents are scheduled in a timely manner. They will foster a culture prioritizing health and safety, and ensure all is in compliance with our client's policies and procedures, mandated by the Ministry of Labour. They will work as a team player in support of the Project Manager and other stakeholders and act as a leader on the field team.
What you'll need to succeed
This Site Super candidate will have at least 3 years managing ICI construction projects from inception to completion in Canada. They will have an educational background in engineering or a construction related degree or diploma OR have a combination of technical training and years of related construction experience. The Site Supervisor will have strong managerial skills, be a team player and be effective communicating both orally and written. They will be proficient in office and project management software and be able to lead meetings on site with all types of stakeholders. They will be committed to safety and complying with company and government policies and procedures.
