We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team at GTA General Contractors. As a Senior Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects, with a focus on concrete, structural, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management and a through understanding of concrete work, structural systems, and industrial construction processes.

Responsibilities:

• Work at the direction of Sr. Project Manager
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of the project.
• Supervise and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify defects, and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Manage project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety records.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the construction team, addressing challenges and providing solutions in real-time.
• Oversee concrete pouring, structural installations, and other critical construction processes to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, motivating and mentoring team members to excel in their roles.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Communicate with Sr. Project Manager on daily and weekly basis regarding project progress

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Proven track record of successfully supervising and delivering medium to large construction projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of concrete work, structural systems, and industrial construction techniques.
