Axis Mining Technology is seeking a Technical Support Representative to join its North American team.

Axis is a global supplier of drill hole survey instrumentation whose primary customers are mining, exploration and drilling companies.Axis benefits from having differentiated and in-demand products.

Based in Canada and reporting to the Regional Manager North America, the position offers travel opportunities and requires a hands-on approach to customer service, support & training of Axis customer base.

Key Responsibilities;

· Conduct and coordinate initial and refresher training to end-users, geologist, geology technologist and drilling staff, of Axis instrumentation (in-person or virtually).

· Follow and oversee inventory tracking of the territory.

·Provide customer service geology and drilling staff inquires on a regular basis.

·Assist geologist and drilling staff in technical support of Axis instruments.

· Ensure regular contact with users of Axis instruments

·Promote a safe and healthy working environment.

Essential Attributes:

·Willingness to learn and be trained in the use of Axis instruments.

·Strong knowledge of downhole survey instrumentation (Gyro/similar) and drilling operations.

·Strong computer competency.

·Self-motivated, driven and clear capacity to work without supervision.

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Attributes:

· Experience or technical understanding of drill-hole survey instrumentation.

·Bilingual in French and English is an asset but not essential.
