Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting our product to resolve our customers' technical issues. You will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. Your ability to work in complex networking environment will also make you an ideal candidate.

Communicating with customers through phone calls, social networks, email, etc. for marketing and introduction of the company's products and services.

Entering weekly reports in the company’s archive and presenting them weekly to the sales and technical manager for analysis and processing.

Attending weekly training sessions to improve technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reproduce customer environment and run tests
  • Manage and address electronic tickets efficiently
  • Liaise between sales team, customer success team, and customers to properly address customer problems
  • Troubleshoot and configure software and hardware


Qualifications

  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong written and verbal and troubleshooting skills
  • 8+ years' of technical support experience

Applicant's residence (temporary or permanent) in Canada is required.

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.

Having sufficient knowledge of all major microscope’s brands in the market knowledge, scientific grade cameras, and diagnostic software related to Pathology and Cytology.

Ability to analyze general microscopic images including blood cells, chromosomes, tissues, etc.

At least 8 years of special technical support experience in the field of microscopy, relevant images, and diagnostic software.

Ability to read and follow manuals work instructions job standards and related information is required.

Documents showing completion of specialized training courses if any.

Ability to speak in one of the following;

English-French, English-Arabic, English-Persian, English-Turkish,

Knowing three of these languages is a priority.

Will be required to travel 50 % of the time


Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word, power point, excel).
  • Knowledge of medical and lab safety and standards
  • Past success teaching and training others with laboratory equipment
  • Outgoing personality and professional nature in communicating with customers and co-workers.
  • Familiar with health market, the character of customers and the medical theme.
  • Understanding of technical and mechanical concepts of life Science
  • Must be able to work independently in a team environment with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.


Salary Guide:

$40K-45K estimated salary for this role.

Job Types: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift, 8am to 5pm (one hr/coffee break & Lunch)
  • Monday to Friday

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (preferred)
