Position Summary


The Samsung Vancouver team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to help us achieve that growth. In this role you will be working closely with hiring managers to build and execute sourcing strategies to engage high-quality diverse candidate pools.

Role And Responsibilities


  • Order swag and manage booth set up for University campus events
  • Full cycle recruitment from job posting creation to offer presentations
  • Build solid relationships with leadership teams and hiring managers and serve as a partner during the recruitment process
  • Support with Immigration processes including application submissions and preparing documents for Work Permit and Permanent Residency
  • Create engaging recruitment marketing content that aligns with Samsung’s brand identity
  • Manage candidate communication to ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience
  • Source and screen candidates for a wide range of technical roles
  • Oversee the coordination of interview schedules and provide updates to candidates and hiring managers
  • Build strong candidate pipelines via sourcing, ATS applications, referrals and agency partners
  • Collect recruitment data and use relevant information to drive sourcing strategies
  • Attend career fairs and industry recruitment events
  • Support People Team with ad hoc projects, reports, and events
  • Collaborate with the People Team and actively engage in diversity and inclusion hiring strategies


Skills And Qualifications


  • Experience organizing hiring events, managing employer booths and have a strong appreciation for employer branding
  • Experience recruiting for technical functions is required
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian work authorization processes and legal requirements
  • Must be able to commute and transport swag to events
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative and innovative candidate sourcing techniques, including a track record of sourcing passive diverse candidates
  • Knowledge with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (Workday), and data management
  • Customer service oriented with focus on providing a high level of service delivery and partnership
  • A team-player with proven ability to build strong meaningful relationships with all levels of the organization
  • 4+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
