The Talent Experience Director Contractor role is a critical role within the Talent Management & Experience COE and focuses on the Talent Experience initiatives at GRAIL. This role is responsible for driving employee engagement, team effectiveness, and organizational effectiveness. This role will be a strategic partner, consultant, builder, and owner of Talent Experiences priorities including Engagement Survey Action Planning, Organizational Efficiency/Agility, Team Effectiveness Interventions, Change Management Approaches, and Community/Volunteering initiatives. This role will partner with the People leadership team, People Partners, L&D, and other stakeholders across the organization to lead Talent Experience initiatives to build and enhance our culture and workplace experience.

You Will:

• Serve as an innovative thought leader on everything related to Talent Experience and bring a creative and proactive approach to addressing workplace experience opportunities.
• Support the head of TMX as needed with the execution talent reviews, succession planning, and year end activities
• Own a piece of GRAIL’s Culture initiative to galvanize stakeholders around key cultural activation strategies
• Oversee our events calendar and community giving initiative
• Work closely with key stakeholders (People Partners, L&D, Leadership) Translate 2023 Voice of Grail results into corporate actions and initiatives
• Develop an approach to team effectiveness and change management to support growth and high-performance
• Benchmark org effectiveness practices and support GRAILs efforts to drive greater agility and efficiency in the organization.

Your background should include:

• Ability to think conceptually and strategically, with the ability to operationalize strategizes and effectively execute them
• Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence key stakeholders and build consensus around decision making and problem solving
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and empower at all levels within the organization
• Strong project management and program management experience with a track record of delivering company-wide projects or initiatives.
• Ability to operate effectively when there is ambiguity and progress forward with a bias for action
• Competence in Engagement Action Planning, Culture Rollouts, Org Effectiveness, Team Effectiveness and Change Management practices
• Ability to effectively drive change management and communication strategies to various audiences for new programs and changes at all levels of the organization
