Within HBT, our direct sales force creates and sells integrated solutions to our customers that achieve results. Our sales approach begins by working with the end customer to identify and prioritize their desired outcomes. We help them select and define use cases that will achieve those outcomes. From there we design the integrated solution that will deliver those use cases. In many cases, we will need to work with the customers' consultants and contractors for the design and implementation of the solution.

The CSAE will work with general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers.
Responsibilities
- Provide an accurate weekly forecast for orders within Salesforce.Com platform. Includes overall orders forecast along with forecast for Install and Service lines of business.
- Create a robust pipeline of major pursuits within the Construction Ecosystem. Track within Salesforce.com.
- Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goals.
- Establishing professional relationships with appropriate levels of client decision-makers.
- Create strategic relationships with top general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers in Canada East. This includes standard terms and conditions, master purchasing agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Consistently meet the orders forecast on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Drive orders growth within the Consulting Engineers & Contractor Space within Canada East.
- Win new customer logos. Create a pipeline of new customer targets.
- Collaborate with Vertical Account Managers to drive growth on specific opportunities.
- Meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Major Market territory plan review Bi-Annually (White Space, Relationship map, Strategy focused)
- Bilingualism in French and English
- Valid Drivers License
- 5+ years of sales in the Building Sciences industry (Security, BAS, HVAC)
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Ability to travel within Quebec Province / Atlantic Region
- Post-Secondary education in business or a technical field of study
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan
- Outcome-based selling skills.
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems, Fire, Security, and Software
- Strong knowledge of the Construction Ecosystem. Includes contractors and consultants.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of direct sales of integrated solutions
- C-Level selling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
- Strong knowledge of the construction ecosystem. Includes general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and architects.
- Strong skills with Salesforce.com platform.
