As our Applications Engineer, you will contribute to the success of Edson and ProMach by providing technical assistance and developing quotations for our product lines.
Do you enjoy this work?

• Participate in tasks requiring collaborative engagement with end-users, distributors, and the outside sales team
• Provide machinery solutions for customer applications using company best practices and products
• Support sales team by providing engineering solutions to RFQs

• Professional Engineer License (P. Eng.) required
• Exposure to Bill of Materials and ERP Systems, as well as controls and automation
• Experience in project management techniques
• Knowledge of packaging machinery, corrugated industry, robotics, and manufacturing processes considered assets
• Advanced demonstrated knowledge with CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D) and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in the ability to communicate complex and technical information
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Bachelors in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technologist 3-year College Diploma
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• 5+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
