Infra Network Engineer Jobs

• Should have good knowledge of the infra resources like physical machines, virtual machines, and virtual images, Routers, Switches, Modems, etc.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
• Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
• Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
• Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
• Good to have: Hands on experience for setting up various IPTV related devices like STB, Modems, Gateways etc.
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
• Install and configure software and systems for development and testing lab environments as well as for support of customer/field deployments
• Collaboration with other team members (including both hardware and software engineers) to agree on system designs, interfaces and protocols etc.
• Must have fair knowledge of Server Racks and other related components
• Keeping all the systems OS, development software up to date.
• Improve client infrastructure solutions
• Sound knowledge of assemble, configure and maintain customised high end workstations (Intel based)
• Sound knowledge of working on heterogeneous environments with hands-on knowledge of Linux and Mac systems
• Support infrastructure deployment efforts
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
