RFIC/PA Design Engineer

The Role: The designer will be responsible for design of RF PA circuits within the context of wireless communications systems. The Candidate will be expected to innovate and work in a fast pace market to help to define and realize products for next generation wireless communication systems.

Job Requirements

• Solid understanding of amplifier modes of operation and matching/bias design considerations.
• Solid Oral and written communication skills.
• You should have deep understanding of all or many of the following:
• Experience in design, analysis and implementation of high efficiency, wideband linear PAs, LNAs and RF switches.
• Proficient using design tools such as Keysight ADS, Cadence ADE, EMX, ADS Momentum, HFSS, etc.
• Deep understanding of RF theories and concepts such as S-parameters, transmission lines, matching circuits, couplers, dividers, bias circuits, etc.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor technologies for analog and RF applications, including SOI, SiGe BiCMOS, CMOS and etc.
• BS degree and 8+ years experience is required. MS or PhD preferred in the area of RFIC and/or PA design.
• Ability to work independently or within a team and deliver according to product requirements and schedule.

The Following Qualifications Are Desirables, But Not Required

• Understanding and insight into RF packaging and modeling.
• Experienced in RF test equipment and measurements.
• Solid knowledge of on chip ESD protection strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of RF and wireless front-end components, systems and various transceiver architectures.
