We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and efficient Strategic Advisor. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and insights, comprehensive administrative support to help the organization achieve their long-term goals. The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate the needs of the executives, exercise sound judgment, and maintain utmost confidentiality.


As the Strategic Advisor you will work closely with our Principals and the Senior Management team to understand their vision, assess market trends and competition, and develop strategic plans to drive growth and profitability. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling various administrative tasks. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting high-level decision makers in achieving their goals.


Please note this position can be based in the Lower Mainland or the Okanagan region and is considered a remote role.


Responsibilities


  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support. Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure buy-in and alignment with strategic plans
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis of industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and ensure alignment
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, gathering necessary documents and materials, arranging logistics, and sending out meeting invitations. Take minutes and meeting summaries as needed
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure buy-in and alignment with strategic plans
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a point of contact and liaison between the executive and other team members, clients, partners, and vendors
  • Monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes, and adjusting strategies as needed. Assist with special projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely completion. Prepare project-related materials and presentations
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the organization's goals
  • Calendar Management and Meeting Coordination: Effectively manage the executive's calendars, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and ensuring optimal time allocation for priorities. Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and make adjustments as necessary
  • Providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise on strategic topics and trends


Qualifications And Experience


  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Proven experience as an Advisor or similar role supporting projects
  • Outstanding time management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) along with calendar management systems Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
