As a Software Lifecycle Support Team Lead - Europe, will lead the regional team for servicing, delivering system support, trouble shooting, emergency assistance, batches, upgrades, updates, additions, and extensions of the “Operational Exellence” running software e.g. MES, MOM, OMS at customer plants or as SaaS subscriptions while working to support those systems as well. Ensure successful hand-over from Project Operations into Services and facilitate successful on-boarding of digital solutions into the customer business environment together with its subsequent operations and maintenance. Exhibit an understanding of how to best meet contractual software services, support and maintenance procedures. Confirm all resources are regionally in place to service software on-time in respect to possible SLA’s and on budget according to the services agreements. Ensure ongoing support and services delivery mechanisms and content meet the qualitative expectations of the customers. Your responsibilities
  • Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
  • Equipment and facilities
  • Ensures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines.
  • People leadership and development
  • Critical line issues
  • Leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.
  • Organizes and allocates resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor quality standards of products and processes being utilized.
  • Responds to resource issues as necessary.
  • Manages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
  • Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
  • Ensures that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
  • Identifies deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities, and oversees implementation of actions to improve production performance.
  • Identifies and recommends technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
  • Effectively manage subcontractors utilized for production needs.
  • Oversee Forklift and overhead crane repairs and yearly inspections.
  • Ensure collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including engineering, applications, production and purchasing.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures. Participate in JHSC meeting to ensure initiatives are implemented.
Your background
  • Sound knowledge of production techniques, processes and philosophies.
  • Minimum 10 Years of experience.
  • Previous production and manufacturing experience.
  • Conflict resolution management.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt.
  • Good Communication skills.
