Smt Line Machine Operator

Our team is growing and we are looking to hire SMT Machine Operator to join our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the SMT Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as required.
• Perform SMT operations from simple to difficult on printed circuit board.
• Perform routine maintenance on the surface mount equipment.
• Perform SMT setup and cleanup.
• Operate Panasonic pick-and-place equipment.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
• Setup and operate EKRA and Panasonic Solder Paste Printers.
• Operate Aqueous PCB Washer Machine.
• Operate BTU Reflow Oven.
• Coordinate work schedules within the SMT Line.
• Communicate with process engineers to resolve SMT assembly issues.
• Communicate with SMT supervisor to resolve any machine issues.

Job Skills

• Good computer literacy and the equivalent of a high school diploma.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and procedures, and to proactively participate in the decision-making process.
• Two years experience with surface mount machines.
• Knowledge of PanaPro and DGS software is an asset, as is experience operating the Panasonic pick-and-place machine.
• Knowledge of color codes, electronic component identification and IPC-A-610-G is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend assembly documentation and drawings.
• Strong Printed Circuit Board assembly skills (SMT and PTH).
• Ability to work well and accept personal accountability within a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
