A global supplier cable harnessing manufacturing company based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada is hiring an Electrical Machine Operator. This is a firm specialized in interconnect solutions, that provides custom designed cable components to international industrial, medical, and semiconductor companies.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process. Your primary responsibilities include:

·Operating production machinery to produce custom electrical wiring according to specifications.

·Setting up, operating, and inspecting production machine center equipment, processes, and materials.

·Reading, setting up, and following production paperwork and drawings to ensure the production of high-quality products.

·Performing repairs and rework on items that do not meet specifications.

·Continuously improving the production process through proactive problem-solving and process optimization.

·Maintaining and updating production instructions for accurate documentation.

·Performing data entry in the ERP system to record inventory, production completion, and other relevant information.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

·Willingness to work rotative shifts

·Minimum of 2 years of experience in setting up and operating custom cable production machinery.

·Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and follow production paperwork and drawings.

·Basic understanding of electrical circuits

·Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.

·Ability to problem-solve and react quickly and safely to various situations.

·Excellent organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

·Capable of multitasking when operating specialized machinery.

·Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word.

Shifts: Weekly rotation; 6 am to 2:30 pm, 2:30 pm to 11 pm.
