Job Description
Seaside Paper Products is seeking to hire Junior Machine Operators to run our Flexo Press machine.


The Junior Machine Operator Is Responsible To


  • Read and understand specification sheets.
  • Be able to run a machine independently with little supervision.
  • Be able to set up a job on a machine.
  • Be able to problem-solve production inconsistencies and make adjustments to a machine.


You Need To


  • Own vehicle is recommended as Transit is not reliably available to our location.
  • Proven Mechanical Aptitude. Please ensure your resume reflects your experience with tools and machines.
  • Able to work and think quickly to keep up with machine speed.
  • Have experience running a machine (controlling speed, troubleshooting, quality control).
  • Be Legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application. No sponsorships are available.
  • Good with tools.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.


The Shift


  • Averages 80 over 2 weeks (one week work 3 days, the next week works 4 days)
  • Alternating 3-day weekends off (Fri, Sat, Sun)
  • This position will work from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. No evening or overnight shifts

  • RRSP matching after 2 years of employment.
  • Hourly rate of $20-21 to start. Increase after 3-month probation
