Electrician Rotating Shift Jobs

Applies knowledge of site procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) [e.g. ICH Q7].

Technical Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience; OR B.Sc. in Chemistry or Biology

Knowledge in HPLC, GC, titration, KF, NMR and other analytical techniques

Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

The Research Associate, Quality Control will conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished product samples.

Performs cleaning verification analysis and visual inspection for manufacturing equipment.

Assists the Production Manager with planning of production runs and the deployment of people and resources.

Completes batch record documentation correctly with emphasis on proper issuance of drug product and packaging components, in-process requirements and reconciliation procedures.

Minimum of 3 years of experience within packaging in a GMP environment

Supervision or lead experience would be considered an asset

Mathematical and analytical skills needed to complete required documentation in a thorough and accurate manner.

Machine operating and assembly line experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or food packing industry).

Ensure identification, routing, attachment and connection of cables;

Performs electrical continuity and grounding tests on electrical circuit conductors;

Verify the installation and operation of all electrical circuits using test equipment such as testers, ohmmeters, voltmeters, megohmmeters, etc;

Detect and correct any faults and replace defective components and wires.

Travel 50% of the time for short periods (Bagotville and Cold Lake military bases).

Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to accurately determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and / or installations.

Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.

Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Knowledge of electrical applications for high and low voltage electric systems.

Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.

Operate proficiently a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.

Test malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with management options available to correct problem

Industrial Trade certification as Industrial Electrician and/or PLC certification

Minimum 5 years hands on experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulic and pneumatic fundamentals and principals

Certification in one or more robot programming courses (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic)

-Licensed Electrician with 5+ years of experience with automated machinery

-Custom manufacturing environment experience preferred

$38/hr - $42/hr + benefits, RRSP, bonus

Industrial Electrician - Machine Manufacturing

-Build and install electrical panels for automated machinery

-Complete project based work within a designated time frame

Practice good housekeeping and time management in the performance of daily duties.

Pay range $35.96 - $40.00 (based on experience) + shift premium of $1.25/hr

Must have a minimum of 2-3 years related electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

Certification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or as a Construction Electrician (309A) and strong background in PLC maintenance.

Previous crane, conveyor, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience is a definite asset.

Must have knowledge of computer skills using MS Office products.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of calipers and other measuring devices.

Troubleshoot electrical problems as required.

Skill / Expert in codes and standards, practices, and technologies within specific discipline.

Experience in Turnaround and Routine Maintenance Planning

Familiarity with the basic investigation tools and techniques like FRACAS, RCA, and TAPROOT is an added value.

Utilize knowledge and familiarity with international standards to improve equipment performance.

Troubleshoot rotating equipment failures and performance.

Implement best-in-class solutions for rotating equipment as foreseen by international standards and internal company standards.

Lead efficiency improvement initiatives, upgrading programs, and projects in the field of rotating equipment.
