Strong project management and data analysis skills.

3-5 years previous experience including Siemens SiPlace and/or DEK Horizon machines.

Experience in SPI, AOI and Lean manufacturing principles would be an asset.

Support Surface Mount Technology area for both equipment and process issues.

Support new production builds (CV/DV and PV level), and generate build reports.

Participate in SMT design reviews per Veoneer standards.

Previous experience as an SMT Machine Operator is preferred.

Shifts: 6:00am- 6:30pm | Fridays to Sundays

Weekly Pay + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque

Knowledge of PanaPro and DGS software is an asset, as is experience operating the Panasonic pick-and-place machine.

Two years experience with surface mount machines.

Strong Printed Circuit Board assembly skills (SMT and PTH).

Knowledge of color codes, electronic component identification and IPC-A-610-G is strongly preferred.

Perform SMT operations from simple to difficult on printed circuit board.

Setup and operate EKRA and Panasonic Solder Paste Printers.

Manage changeover process to ensure efficiency in production time

Understand basic troubleshooting skills with regards to component placement accuracy, board loading/unloading and fiducial data

Previous experience with machine operation

Set up and operation of screen printers and SPI

Monitor SPI for tolerance adherence and understand troubleshooting methods to keep in line with paste quality

Setup each SMT machine to ensure parts are loaded properly, conveyors are aligned, and oven recipes are accurate

Knowledge / background in IPC – A – 610 standards. IPC certification is an asset

Previous experience in electronic manufacturing is required

A self-starter with good organizational skills and analytical skills.

Knowledge of SMT Equipment is preferred.

Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Good communication skills in both written and oral English
