We are currently seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, and good problem-solving skills to join our Extruder Operator team! For the right candidate, this is a career opportunity with room for growth and advancement.
As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will perform daily production activities on plastic extrusion lines, ensuring all lines are running without quality concerns throughout your shift.
What you need to know:
Schedule: 12hr rotating day/night shift
Time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for the first two weeks, followed by 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for the other two weeks in a month
Pay Rate: $22-23/hr based on experience
Location: Annacis Island, BC
Transit accessible with a 5 min walk from the bus stop
Fulltime with opportunity for permanent hire

- Make all quality checks as required. Finished products must match all quality standards assigned
- Ensure all lines are running without quality concerns at the beginning and throughout your shift
- Assist in line changeovers including die removal and replacement
- Provide help and support to other team members when needed and as able.
- Maintain housekeeping of your lines and workstation
- Performs daily production activities on plastic extrusion lines
- Track downtime and ensure running sheets are completed
- Positive attitude, and takes pride in their work
- Forklift experience or certificate an asset
- High school graduate
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Detail-oriented, and organized
- Able to work a 12hr/day/night rotating shift
- Desire to learn new skills
- WHMIS and Industrial First Aid Level 1 is an asset
- Can clear a criminal record check
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
