Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Senior Vice President of Services at an established rapidly evolving IT Managed Services & Value Added Reseller. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of successfully driving the growth, profitability, and operational excellence of IT services within a managed services environment. The Senior VP of Services will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery, client satisfaction, team management, and working in harmony with the CIO and Executive staff on technology and operational innovation within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to contribute to the company's long-term vision and growth.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to formulate innovative service offerings.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive services strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  1. Service Delivery Excellence:
  • Provide strategic direction to the service delivery teams, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and timely delivery of IT managed services to clients.
  • Monitor service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and methodologies across service delivery processes.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Address client escalations and concerns in a proactive and effective manner.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their evolving needs are met.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Implement pricing strategies for services, considering market dynamics and competitive positioning.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize resource allocation, utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the services budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profitability analysis.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Attract, recruit, and retain top talent to support the growth and success of the services organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of service delivery professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Define clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  1. Technology Innovation:
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the services team.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT managed services industry.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, systems, and methodologies that enhance service delivery and overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving profitability targets, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in senior leadership roles within the IT managed services industry.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
