The role:

• Level up your competencies & expertise in educational opportunities
• Oversee software management, headcount management, and overall expense management
• Weekly and monthly reporting on key financial metrics, such as cashflow and EBITDA
• This is a full-time role with the responsibility of owning the finance and accounting functions
• Work with vendors, customers, and stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships
• You will report directly to the CEO
• Payroll, AP, building operations, people operations
• Ownership over revenue, accounts receivable, payments, forecasting, and FP&A function
• This position is full-time in the office
• Use internal tools to track activity and outcomes
• Gather necessary information and action items internally to qualify for grants
• Innovate on pricing and package offerings
• Work closely with COO and other department leaders to implement new financial processes and controls and upgrade current processes

We’re looking for people who:

• Have a CPA designation
• Are passionate about leadership and personal development
• Have 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with experience using QBO
• Have worked in a startup, a technology focussed company, or are entrepreneurial in nature
• Are driven, self-motivated, and have a fantastic work ethic
• Are considered more of a generalist than a specialist. You must be able to wear multiple hats and solve problems from multiple angles
• Are self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Are masters of efficiency, are highly organized, and love using technology to get things done quickly
• Are results-oriented: will run through a wall to get stuff done
