Interested in being part of a dynamic and growing institution in the education sector? Our Abbotsford client is seeking a driven Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager's duties include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual financials to the Board and AGM
• Managing the day-to-day accounting for the organization, as well as the bookkeeping for its sub-entities (including payroll)
• Budget management and forecasting
• Working with external accountants on year-end audit
• Overseeing the finances for projects and initiatives

Requirements

The successful candidate has completed their formal accounting education and brings 3+ years of full-cycle accounting/bookkeeping experience, with experience in a not-for-profit background being an asset. The ideal candidate is proactive, process-driven, works well independently and with a team, and embraces the changes that come with an innovative and evolving organization.
