The Opportunity

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will report directly to the Controller and work closely with our entire business and finance team. You will focus onpreparing financial reports, accounting,automation,planning, and budgeting of business operations. The position requires an appreciation for entrepreneurship without large corporate infrastructure.You will bring your speciality in accounting or finance to conduct business analytics, automation, create meaningful dashboards and reports that managers can count on to support corporate decision-making.

The Objectives of this Role

•Lead accurate and timely month and year-end analysis,inventory costing,budgeting, and forecasting, and include involvement in special cross-functional projects.

•Highlight opportunities for business performance and corporate spend improvements by performing in-depth analysis and preparing managementpresentations.

•Work with business partners to better understand operational requirements and to determine potential opportunities and impact on operational scope andobjectives.

•Assess company marketing and sales data to assess trends and impact on business strategy andproduction.

What You’ll Do

•Develop and automate monthly reporting using Business Intelligence tools and suggest areas for improvement.

•Examine financial methods, production costs,techniquesand marketing policies toidentify andrecommend possible improvements.

•Learn the existing internal technology stack and recommend / implement possible solutions for efficiencies.

•Troubleshoot system process and systems issues within NetSuite andconnections toother 3rd partyEDI / Warehousingsystems.

•Conduct basic to complex process and data analysisfor integration and automation of businessprocesses.

•Develop, maintain, update, and improve on complex financialmodels.

•Conductpurchaseanalysis, physical inventory control, internal controls,including,forecasting/budgetingincludingcapital and fixedassets.

•Support with the development and tracking of key businessmetrics.

Who You Are

•Post-secondary degree inbusiness,business analysis,finance,or related field

•3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis or a related discipline

•Demonstrated knowledge of financial transactional activities including ERP systems,automation,internal control principles and financial management practices

•Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems

•Inventory control experience considered a strongasset

•Exceptional attention to detail and a fast learner

•Demonstrated interpersonal skills including reliability, consistency, flexibility and adaptability in day-to-dayinteractions

•Demonstrated experience using advancedMSExcel,creating complex worksheetsincludingmacrosandpivottables

•Demonstrated experience and understanding of internal systems including, budgeting and planning, financial systems, management reporting, internal and external controls andaccounting

•Knowledge of BI Dashboards such as Tableau,Qilkis anasset

•Knowledge of ERP systems similar toNetsuiteis anasset

•Pro-active, takes initiative and recognizes sense ofurgency

•Strong ability to prioritize to meet tight and conflictingdeadlines

•Excellent communication skills both orally andwritten
