Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based at our North York office reporting into the Finance Director as part of our Nestlé Health Science Finance Team. This role is responsible for leading the forecasting and financial analysis function for the NHSc Medical Nutrition Business. This role works closely with the Sales Leadership Team, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance to support the team in improving the financial performance of the business as well as help deliver against the plans.
A day in the life of a Senior Financial Analyst

• Review and analyse customer daily sales and provide transparency on sales KPIs
• Ensure clear visibility and understanding of current pricing strategies to Key Account Managers (KAM) with the objective to deliver incremental profitable growth.
• Support the monthly internal reviews with the Medical Nutrition team to identify risks, gaps and opportunities.
• Support contract management by providing all related financial reporting, scenario builds and impact analyses; challenge team assumptions, support strategy development and provide recommendations.
• Provide insight and analysis on Net Proceed of Sales, Trade Spend, contract management and Customer Contribution Statements by leveraging reports from the Reporting & Analytics Team, and as needed, by developing reports that may be unique to the Medical Nutrition Team. Embrace digital transformation projects as a way to deliver business insights in real time
• Support Sales Trade Analysts when required to review customer post audits, non-compliance charges from customers and distributors and manage with cross functional teams the recovery of invalid deductions
• Create, execute, and monitor the trade spend accruals in Osprey system on a monthly basis to ensure they are correct and within Nestle Accounting Standards, Nestle Terms and Conditions as well as reflect proper pricing conditions established in contracts with Group Purchasing Organizations and Distributors

What will make you successful?

• 3-5 years experience as a Financial Analyst or comparable role
• Completion of University Degree in Finance or Business Administration working towards a recognized Accounting Designation (CPA or CFA).
• Financial acumen with strong understanding of P&L drivers
• Strong relationship builder with the ability to manage through influence and collaboration
• Strong communication skills, including presentation of financial information to non-financial users
• A self-starter, with strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Excellent spreadsheet, BI tools, and database skills with the ability to enhance the financial planning process
