Senior Financial Analyst – **Mainly Remote**

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team and responsible for ensuring financial information is accurate and timely. This role is broad in scope and will provide exposure and visibility to several areas. This is a professional yet family-oriented organization with a collaborative and supportive leadership team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for regular financial reporting, preparation of monthly financial statements, conducting financial analysis and research on new accounting rules and regulations. Responsibilities also include assisting in the preparation and filing of the regulatory and statutory annual and interim financial statements. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be expected to assist in other departmental projects and participate in ad hoc projects as they arise.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Team oriented
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
• IFRS experience
• CPA designation or pursuing
• 3-5+ years of experience in public practice/private sector with a focus on the insurance industry (preference for P&C)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains financial system an asset
