Senior Director, Information Technology, Gmp Systems

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of CCRM and OmniaBio, the Senior Director, IT, GMP Systems, will lead a team focused on selecting, implementing and supporting GMP systems (ERP/MRP, LIMS, ELN, EMS, QMS, etc.) The successful candidate will work with the CIO and other IT groups to provide a seamless user experience. This is an exciting role for an experienced IT leader who is energized by the opportunity to build and create a world-class IT platform.

Demonstrating strong technical leadership, the Senior Director, IT, GMP Systems, will lead the implementation of the company’s IT systems to support GMP manufacturing and will have ownership for delivery across all aspects of business process optimization, information solutions, and application integration. This role’s primary accountability will be to build the GMP IT organization support model, in partnership with CCRM and OmniaBio’s other business units, while leveraging managed services within a lean internal structure. Building a high-performance team, the Senior Director, IT, GMP Systems, will lead a team of six. As the company grows, the Senior Director, IT, GMP Systems, will continue to grow their team to keep up with the anticipated demand.

Critical to success of the person in this role will be strong strategic thinking capabilities, well-honoured collaboration, communication and relationship building skills and the ability to multitask in an innovative, ground-breaking, and highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate is a progressive and experienced IT leader with a background of best practices in GMP manufacturing. Having an exceptional track record in the management of internal resources and selection/management of external vendors is essential. Experience with a CDMO or a pharmaceutical manufacturing company will be key. A passion for exploring emerging technologies (AI, ML, RPA, etc.) to create a competitive advantage for the company is a great asset and experience with SAP is required.
