The Director of Information Technology Hospitality will develop and implement a comprehensive and integrated information technology plan which supports and fosters the broader strategic and business plans. Responsibilities Lead the successful day to day operations of the Resort through Information Technology Accountable for achieving the highest standards of technology, products and services rendered to homeowners, guests and employees Monitor the ordering and receiving program for all divisional products and supplies to ensure proper quality, quantity, price and safety on all purchases Responsible for all network infrastructure, server infrastructure, operating systems and administering key business systems Assist team with identifying the causes of and correcting failures on critical systems Oversee network traffic, bandwidth utilization, network and equipment alarms Responsible for coordinating system upgrades and patching Accountable for implementing disaster recovery procedures Evaluate hardware and software platforms Implement new technologies in a timely and effective manner Responsible for all aspects of database maintenance, management and integration Manage overall group policies and system security Responsible for problem analysis and problem solving in the performance of developing and supporting software installation and support Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required Other duties as assigned Requirements Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related major Minimum 10 years' experience in information technology management 5 years' experience in a comparable position in a hospitality operation Expert understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS and DNS, VMWare, routing and firewall rules Demonstrated experience working with a broad scale of computer hardware and software Experience with Cat 6 (or better) wiring and fiber optic cabling Proficient use of Network and Application Management Tools Several years of server/network maintenance design experience Must possess excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion Working Conditions Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance Stand, sit or walk for an extended period or for an entire shift Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and pulling Join our team and make every day feel like Friday. *All candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
