Security Supervisor - Commercial Tower In Toronto

Securiguard is currently looking for Security Supervisor for a High Profile Corporate Commercial Tower in Downtown Toronto.

As a security supervisor, you will contribute to manage a team as well as the safety and security of customers and all other stakeholders.

We are looking for licensed security Supervisor with patience, compassion and empathy who want to make a positive impact in the lives of patients and staff. We will provide all additional training including First Aid CPR, Mental health first Aid, Crisis Management, Effective Communications, Management of Resistant Behaviour, Mental Health Awareness and Use of Force training. Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Basic computer skills
• Must be reliable, available, of sound character and be able to work in a team environment or independently
• Ability to handle multiple situations and use sound judgment to handle emergency situations
• Valid Security Guard License
• Must be able to provide coaching, training, and update site Manager on new trainees progress
• Customer service skills
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner
• Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room systems
• Minimum 2 years Security Guard experience
• Will be required to keep track of staff training records, expiry dates and book for training when required
• Minimum of 1 year Security Supervisory experience
• Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset
• Must be physically fit and able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
• Previous security experience in healthcare industry would be an asset
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
