POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP of Eurofase Heating, the Sales Support Specialist will build strong relationships to complete the framework to help Innova/EFH (Eurofase brand) have an edge in these increasingly competitive times. This role is a high value-add segment to the heating division, enabling revenue growth and increasing sales productivity by providing effective methodologies, efficient processes, source of technical information, strengthen system rules and validation to help proactively with a constant focus in growing sales.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The gate keeper of all marketing (Sales) programs and tracking the results by channel, agency, and customers – the intent is to “measure & improve”.
- Agency performance.
- Coordinating of the company customer & representative site visits to the Toronto facility and setting the schedule of activities.
- Presales support, customer inquiries, quote preparation, layouts, heat maps and any other necessary tools to support the sell.
- Coordinating the Trade shows to support sales: meeting agenda, presentations, attending customers performances etc.
- Manage customers’ communications, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems, by phone or e-mail.
- Assist with developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
- Generate channel performance reports when required.
- Other related sales tasks as required.
- Ad-hoc reports by sales management.
- Onboarding of a new agency (in the appropriate market segment) to include training, sales starter kit, portal training (if required), update internal systems, managing all communications internal & external of a new agent.
- Work with VP of Eurofase Heating to finetune, keep up to date, and execute Sales strategy plans.
- Ability to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that balance business needs and system maintainability.
- Exiting (termination) the process of an agency and communicating internal & external of the change.
- Order entry and order management. Coordinate all entities involved in providing pre-order support, monitor inventory to support orders, order entry and order management support up to shipment and invoicing.
- Post sales support, customer installation inquiries, basic technical troubleshooting, Warranty coverage, RGAs, and any other necessary tools to support the customers.
- Generate customer performance reports and search for buying patterns.
- Identifying processes, data, and structure to improve sales productivity to deliver incremental sales results. This position requires a “business sense” not just formulating and sharing reports.
- A liaison between Sales, Marketing and Product Management and to link the initiatives for success.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- This job requires traveling to tradeshows in Canada and USA.
- Able to multi-task & perform under tight time deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaboration, engagement and building trust.
- Communication skills, both verbally & written
- Ability to understand and contribute to the strategic direction and goals of the Sales Department and support appropriate processes to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
- Conflict management skills
- Time management & organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Require 2+ years of experience in Sales support or related experience.
