Who are we and what do we do?


RFDM Solutions is a boutique technology consulting firm based in downtown Victoria. We create cutting edge websites, digital marketing campaigns, and custom software solutions for clients all over North America. In shortest terms, we spend our days solving unique technology problems for industries as diverse as B2B and B2C ecommerce, non-profit, technologies and venture capital.


We are a full stack marketing and sales technology experts, and our services include Website Development, Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation, CRM Solutions, and Custom Cloud Application development.


What’s the job all about?


RFDM is looking to build an in-house SDR capacity to support both internal and client facing SDR solutions. Working alongside our Sales and Marketing executive teams, you will be supported in becoming an expert in SDR methodology and tactics, as they fit within the broader GTM strategies of our own business, as well as our client’s business.


You will be responsible for executing the step-by-step outreach communications via email, phone call, LinkedIn, chat, and various other channels. You will be supported by our Sales and Marketing executive teams in terms of Strategy, Customer Profiles, Prospecting Lists, Message Content and sales skills related to persuasive communication, objection handling, and lead management.


In short, we’re looking for someone with aptitude and desire to become an expert in Sales Development, with a focus on applying your skills and expertise as a problem solver for more than one organization.


Requirements


What kind of skills and experience do you need to have?


The main skills and experience we would need you to have are:


  • Some familiarity with email marketing and a general comfort of onboarding onto new technology rapidly
  • You are detail oriented and take ownership over the tasks you are given.
  • Some training or experience with business administration tasks, such as document management, data entry, and reporting.
  • A general comfort with talking to new people and quickly building rapport.
  • The ability to communicate professionally and persuasively via email, phone/web conference, and in person. Preference will go to candidates who can demonstrate aptitudes for developing self-directed learning, process improvement, and persuasive communication.
  • In terms of other important skills, you would need to be comfortable in being responsible for delivering projects on a deadline, and for juggling more than one project at a time.


With respect to experience, we welcome candidates that have lived the SDR role in tech-based SaaS companies or have worked in an agency consultancy environment but want to hear from anyone that has transferable skills if they bring a driving internal motivation to continually learn, experiment and improve. In short, if you think you can build a better SDR/pipeline generation methodology than what you’ve seen, we’ll give you the chance to prove it.

What’s the offer?


The role is full time remote role, Mon-Fri, based on a standard 7.5 hour work day around our core working hours. This is a full-time sales position where we will coach you into ownership, ability and experience. RFDM prioritizes a healthy work-life balance and will empower you in developing your own workload management to ensure you are able to meet your deliverables without impeding your non-work passions. The compensation offered will be based on your skills and previous work experience. We also offer a generous extended health plan, and three weeks paid vacation to start.

Location


Our office is located out of Victoria BC, and while our preference is to hire locally, we are open to candidates across Canada as all of our positions are considered as remote work. Those who live in Victoria will also have access to our downtown office should they wish to have an office space to go to as well as the opportunity to have in person mentorship.
