Job Description
Here we grow again! KUBRA is looking for an energetic and ambitious Social Media and Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team! As a Social Media and Events Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting KUBRA’s ongoing demand generation marketing initiatives. Specifically, you will be managing social media schedules, executing trade show and event plans, supporting public relations activities by disseminating press releases via Cision, and coordinating outreach to key media partners.


As part of the Demand Generation team, this position will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to assist in projects that support the lead generation, client retention, and brand awareness efforts of the department. The Social Media and Event Coordinator reports to the Senior Team Lead, Demand Generation.

  • Travel within North America is required (USA and Canada).
  • Develop and roll out a media outreach plan to support public relations efforts. Specifically, boost KUBRA “in the news” by targeting communications to important industry media outlets and individual reporters.
  • Co-manage KUBRA’s schedule of 20+ trade shows including contracting exhibitor space and/or sponsorships, ordering booth services and rentals, registering and coordinating booth staff, supporting the creation of promotional activities and strategies, managing internal and external communications, and onsite support.
  • Advanced technical skills using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
  • Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
  • Access to LinkedIn learning courses
  • Knowledge of the following industry tools is an advantage Sprout, iCapture, Zoom (meetings and webinars), ZoomInfo, Cision, SalesForce, HubSpot.
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of various client appreciation events and dinners, as well as KUBRA’s annual client conference, iConnect.
  • Flexible schedules
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 2-4 years of event planning, marketing, and/or communications experience.
  • Free unlimited access to our refreshment stations (fully stocked with tea, coffee and other beverages)
  • Education required Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, English, event planning, or a related discipline.
  • Support KUBRA’s organic and paid social media efforts on LinkedIn and Twitter, including content creation, scheduling posts, follower engagement campaigns, and reporting.
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.
  • Maintain marketing reporting to track and analyze key metrics, including project ROI, cost per lead, etc. Present suggestions to introduce quality improvements and new efficiencies.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with superior multitasking skills.
  • Oversee the distribution of KUBRA press releases via Cision. Monitor and report on results.
  • Collaborate on ongoing demand generation efforts including, but not limited to, digital campaign coordination and setup, content development, event management, sales coordination, reporting, etc.
  • Drive employee advocacy by leveraging Sociabble and developing internal contests to reward top internal influencers on Twitter and LinkedIn.
