Your Role:
- Sets the vision for the Region, develops and adheres to a business plan to attain this vision.
- Introduce marketing strategies to improve sales.
- Prepare forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans.
- Volunteer for and accept assignments and responsibilities at the national level.
- Serve as an active participant/lead sales activities & planning in national/regional meetings accordingly.
- Recruit, hire and develop the most proven and experienced representatives within the industry
- Execute and coordinate all sales-related activities such as, but not limited to: marketing activities, trade show activities, communications plans, legal and regulatory affairs following the company guidelines and in agreement with the law of the land.
- Attain and exceed annual revenue and profit goals for the area of responsibility while managing within a specific expense budget.
- Attend to customer complaints or issues raised from the customer survey responses and document their resolution.
- Evaluates market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Analyse regional market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and create new sales growth opportunities.
- Conduct performance reviews annually and document discipline issues according to HR policy
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer relation skills; ability to establish credibility with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Flexibility to function in an entrepreneurial environment with lean resources.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in B2C sales, with a solid track record of developing and running a sales region or a specific customer category.
- Experience in leading and managing teams.
- Ability to travel 50% to 75%.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to articulate views crisply, convincingly, and adapts style to make an impact.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, growing, constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to compute numbers and calculations such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Bachelors/ diploma in business or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; understand, speak, read, and write in English (French) language.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.
- MS Office tools.
