Job Description
Accelerate your career as an Regional Sales Manager (Metro Vancouver/Fraser Valley) with Fountain Tire. The ideal candidate will support stores in the area and grow and cultivate various commercial clients in the region. Ideal applicants will possess knowledge with commercial tire application’s and have a solid sales acumen.

Your duties will include


  • Completing necessary follow up with customers, and continually updating customer requirements, purchases and buying levels.
  • Complete a call planner
  • Work with the inside sales team as required…answer phones, deliver customers, product etc.
  • Maintain profitable growth as outlined from the BC Operations and Corporate Sales teams
  • Accept sales requests during sales calls
  • Handle client/customer complaints
  • Establish a monthly solicitation schedule with Customers, store owners and suppliers. (ex. Goodyear)
  • Process all pertinent information into the computer system
  • Perform fleet inspections as required
  • Ensure customer is satisfied with the final sale, explain receipt, obtain signature.
  • Provide comprehensive call reports.
  • Verify if requested product is available.
  • Accepts sales request via telephone, fax, mail, etc.
  • Obtain necessary information, name address, phone numbers, etc.
  • Research, initiate, and implement strategies
  • Provide alternative product if requested product is not available in an acceptable time frame.
  • Ensure every client/customer requests are processed in a timely manner. To maintain client base.
  • Provide after service follow-up with all customers
  • Ensure the best service is provided to our client/customer
  • Travel will be required within your territory
  • Provide targeted sales plans for your territory


What does it take to get on track?


  • Must participate in continuing education to upgrade knowledge in order to carry out responsibilities/duties.
  • Experience in the automotive or tire industry is an asset
  • Flexible hours
  • Being customer focused
  • Valid Drivers License, with a satisfactory Drivers Abstract from province of residence.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • 2+ years of work experience in Sales and Service in Tire Industry or related Industrial experience.
  • Offer self-motivation, self-initiative and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to lift 50 kilograms
